25 reasons myspace is stupid

I don't know if anybody realised, but I don't like myspace very much. It is bad bad bad bad bad.
Here is why. Myspace is stupid because:

1- You can't teach it anything.
2- You don't need one.
3- It takes up to much time. Time that could be spent blogging.
4- Commenting on myspace, or having conversations over myspace can be done on Messenger, E-mail or Blogger instead.
5- Most of the photos of people on myspace are stupid. They are always angled so that, conveniently, someone's cleavage is showing, or their pathetic excuse for a six pack, or something like that.
6- They make stupid musical noises, when the internet is not suppost in interfere with noises that are already happening in the environment.
7- People stay up too late using myspace.
8- People who have a myspace blog less. Bad.
9- "Myspace" is not a word. It should be "My Space", or "Stupid site that I put stupid things on."
10- Many people who use myspace have a list of friends comprising of people they don't even know.
11- It encourages gossip.
12- It is not Blogger.
13- Wimsey does not have one.
14- Everything done on myspace can be done using some other means.
15- It does not learn.
16- It has an IQ of twelve.
17- It has an EQ of negative seventeen billion.
18- It cannot dance.
19- It cannot jump.
20- You can't take it for a walk in the park. Unless you have wireless internet. If so, and you still walk it in the park. Well. You're wierd.
21- It does not eat what you didn't finish for tea.
22- If it had a human form, it would be that little ridiculous minimalistic symbol which is meant to look like a person and is suspiciously similar to the little messenger man symbol.
23- It has to copy its little man symbol from messenger.
24- I'm yet to see the word "Smanbastical" used on any myspace.
25- I don't have one.

Do not degrade my cleavage shots, I enjoy them. They are 'nice'. * nods * hahaha. How we love twelve year old g!rL $p3@k.

Also, I explained to you the usefulness of myspace once. Less clutter on msn, and not the same commitment to talking all the time. I guess you can talk to those who you wouldn't always want ot talk to - eg the ones you were telling me about today - when you feel like it, and otherwise, let them be.

But yes, overall, I could go with out it. But I won't.

Yes, I agree with everyone of these 25 points.
Especially point 5, it can tie in with your last post on photogaphy, but I won't get started on that, or I will end up as a pile of steam. Yes, a pile, not a wisp slowly floating away into the night breeze, a big ol' pile of steam.

...anyway, I'm tempted to write reasons that My Space is good, but I feel that it doesn't deserve defending.
But, oh well.

-You can blog on My Space-Although it's not as good as blogger.

-You can send people warm fuzzies-Why you wouldn't just use Fuzzy Pad, I don't know.

-You can make promotional My Spaces, such as Africa Aid, that will get a lot of visitors as a result of the popularity of My Space-But not as good as a real website, I know.

I wrote My Space, instead of Myspace.

I have a My Space, I'm very much over it and despise it.
It gives way to stalkers, bad, bad, and you get caught up with representing yourself a certain way that is usually untrue to yourself.

In fact, someone spoke about it at youth, then he told me this, over My Space:
'Im not against myspace...just.. i believe it can be addictive and you can get obsessed with representing yourself aesthetically thereby hollowing yourself and foregoing any worthwhile character development :)

but other than that, it's good cos you can be nice to people and give them compliments!'

So yes, My Space, in and of itself, is almost pure evil, but the user can turn this evil, foul, ...foul evilness into unevil unfoulness.

The end? Ok.

Ha, I like how you defended Myspace, but added a little bit on the end of each rason, saying why it is still not neccessary. But yes, few Myspaces can be turned from evil to good. E.g. Africa Aid Myspace.

Grammatically Correct Man:

What about the atrocious spelling and grammar that comes with 'Myspace'? It is a world where punctuation-challenged people reign, and neglect all rules of conventional language. Do you "@gR33"?

I do @gR33.
N therz da ppl who talk lyk dis. Dat really annoyz me.

And the people,

Who write really

fragmented

things because they're

so trendy

and they center

everything.

Oh! One more thing: "Your" ≠ "You're" IS THAT SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND!?

Ahem. Excuse me, I was not talking to you.

My Space = Ungood
'My Space Is Gay'

I do believe I have used smanbastical once on My Space.

I also have a link to FuzzyPad.

pretty much myspace is overrated, but what really is the diffence between all these silly little web pagers of the net, there all the same, yes myspace has gone full on and more popular, then others, but most are all the same,
all they do, is tell other people what other people are, who thay are, what they like, what they think, and what they may look like...all the same..nothing can define the way the interent has become with blog pagers and poeples personal pagers...NOTHING!

Yes, it seems that there would be twenty-six reasons why 'Myspace' is, using colloquial language: stupid. I'm sure there are many more, but in keeping with the theme of all the lists listed in this blog, twenty-five seemed to be a fitting number.

End transmission.

thats all.
jono ur so cool.
i wish i was you,
haha
three is pitiful.. but some of them other people will never do..
peace
meeeee
xx

some girl said...

Hehe, no, that does not make you a bad person, because you are cool. I center things too :D

But centering + fragmented...fragmentedness = Trendy/Scene/Popular. I usually dislike the 'scene' because... I don't know. In the words of Dave Coulter's My Space "I'm not a non-conformist, I just suck at fitting in!"

Trendy is a funny word. Keep saying it.
